The reason why we do not use Facebook plugins

This website does not have plugins from the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA integrated into it. On websites in general, you can recognise the Facebook plugin by the Facebook logo or ‘Like’ button.

Background: when you visit websites that use the ‘Like’ button from Facebook, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. This informs Facebook that you have visited a website with your IP address. If you are logged into Facebook in another window simultaneously, it means that a link can be established based on your IP address and the plug-ins loaded by Facebook. By clicking on the Facebook “Like” button while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the contents of the website in question to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate your visit to the website with your Facebook account. We would like to point out that website providers have no knowledge or information about how Facebook uses this data. For more information, please see the privacy policy of Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php. Log out of your Facebook account first if you want to prevent Facebook associating your visit to websites with your Facebook account. You can find an overview of Facebook plugins here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

Use of Google Maps

On our website, we use the component “Google Maps” from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre  Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, in the following referred to as “Google”.

Each time the component “Google Maps” is called up, Google sets a cookie to process user settings and data when you view the page that has the Google Maps component integrated into it. This cookie is not usually deleted when you close your browser but will expire after a certain period of time unless you delete it manually.

If you disagree with your data being processed, you can disable the “Google Maps” service, thus preventing the transmission of data to Google. To do so, disable the Java Script feature in your browser. We would like to point out, however, that this will partially or entirely limit your ability to use “Google Maps” on this website.

Use of “Google Maps” and information obtained through “Google Maps” is subject to Google’s Terms of Use:

http://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/terms/regional.html

and the additional terms and conditions for “Google Maps”
